Sunshine Resources of Door County is currently accepting applicants for the following positions.

Community Employment Coach

Provides assistance, direct supervision, training and coaching to Sunshine Resources of Door County clients who have secured temporary work experiences or competitive community employment. The Job Coach role plays a major part to develop job skills and related interpersonal skills necessary to be successful in the workplace.

In addition, as a part of the Day Service program staff you will also provide 1:1 support with clients to assist with interpersonal/social skills, engaging in quality activities and outings into the community that are fun and of interest.

This position requires the ability to develop relationships with clients and employers in the community, ability to communicate effectively and teach positive work ethic, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with people of all ages and abilities. If you have an outgoing/positive personality and have some experience in special education or working with young adults with Autism/other disabilities or as a Caregiver this is a job that also gives back to the people in our community! We are also willing to train the right candidate.

Senior Day Service Program Provider

Provides individualized care and services that is “people centered” with the goal that clients with memory loss have the best day possible in a safe and caring home like environment. Duties include organizing a variety of age and interest appropriate social, emotional, cognitive, and physically stimulating programs such as crafts, music, movies, games, exercise, holiday events, outings etc., provide supervision, personal care assistance i.e. reminders/assistance for toileting and prepares/serves a light lunch.

Experience caring for seniors with memory loss preferred, must have an outgoing personality!  32-40 hours per week.

Part Time morning and afternoons. Driving bus or van experience
preferred, but will train the right person.
